I have experience leading technical teams as well as mentoring and advising professionals on the next stage of their careers. My blog will focus on AI, Smart Home technology and career advice.
I started this blog to share my passion for technology and how it can improve our lives. I also want to help others who are interested in pursuing a career in this field or advancing their skills. My thoughts on AI
Over the last year, productivity tools that leverage AI technology have become extremely popular. There’s a lot of talk and speculation that these tools and technologies will replace people in a lot of jobs. While the power of these tools seems to grow exponentially daily, I think it’s only partially true that AI will replace people in certain jobs. AI can produce great written work and incredibly detailed photo-quality artwork but still needs someone to tell it what to create. So, while there may be some shifting of roles and responsibilities in some job functions, people who can incorporate AI into their work in order produce higher quality work and be more productive in their roles, will be safe in their careers.
I’ve been experimenting with AI and AI tools for a long time and whether it’s wanted by everyone or not, AI is here to stay. We can either embrace it and use it to help in our everyday tasks or we can reject it. Personally, I think we have to embrace it, otherwise, we risk falling out of touch with modern practices in the workplace.
